What's on in Ambers' this weekend

16 May 2024

As usual this weekend, Ambers' Bar will be open on Friday (6pm - 11pm), Saturday (2pm to 11pm) and Sunday (2pm to 9pm), with the multi-screen system allowing us to show different games simultaneously as the domestic league season reaches its climax.

The football begins on Friday evening with the second of the Championship play-offs as Southampton host West Bromwich Albion at St Mary's, kick off 8pm. The first leg ended goalless, and by Friday the winners will know whether they face Leeds or Norwich at Wembley in the final next weekend.

On Saturday the Women's Super League title will be decided with Chelsea, who went top of the table on Wednesday with their win at Spurs, visiting Old Trafford to take on FA Cup winners Manchester United (live on Sky) and Manchester City away to Aston Villa (live on BBC). Both games kick off at 3.00pm. At 4.15pm it's the League One Play-Off final at Wembley with Bolton Wanderers facing Oxford United.

The League Two Play-Off final is on Sunday, with Crawley Town and Crewe Alexandra bidding for the last place in League One - it's a 1pm kick off so Ambers' will be open for the second half. Then it's all eyes on the last round of games in the Premier League - will Manchester City, at home to West Ham, create history with a fourth successive Premier League title, or will they be pipped by Arsenal, who host Everton? All the action unfolds from 4.00pm and you can watch it all in Ambers'.
