Welcome to the Boom Boom Club, the home of live music at Sutton United FC. August 2011 marks the 9th anniversary of a unique partnership between Sutton United FC and The Boom Boom Club in promoting a local live quality music club.

|
The history of the Boom Boom Club actually goes back a further 8 years when we ran the very successful Worcester Park Club. When that closed due to redevelopment we were invited to transfer our live music club to Sutton and we have never looked back.
The combination of quality bands on people’s doorstep with music ranging from Rock and Blues and old school R&B played by international tour bands and tribute bands combined with friendly club staff, sensible prices and a great car park continues to gain popularity.

We have also managed to attract internationally famous artists and bands from the likes of Kiki Dee, Tony Hadley, Paul Young, Madeline Bell and rock heavy weights such as Walter Trout, Carvin Jones, Joe Bonamassa, Michael Schenker, Focus, Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash, Jefferson Starship, Mountain to unexpected guests such as Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Rick Parfit (Status Quo).

If you take into account some of the classic UK bands such as The Zombies, 9 Below 0, Ruthless Blues, The Yardbirds, The Kast Off Kinks, The Hamsters, Man and Dr Feelgood, plus an array of top tribute bands from the Rollin Stoned and Imagine The Beatles, to Viva Santana and the ever popular 60’s exponents The New Amen Corner and The Mods etc, you have a top line roster on your doorstep that you would find hard to beat in any club in London. On top of that we are proud of the fact that younger artists such as Oli Brown, Ian Parker and Jay Tamkin who played the club as unknowns at the outset of their career have all been signed up by record labels.

The venue has also proved popular for video shoots, live recordings, band promo clips and our on camera post gig interviews have been viewed by thousands of people world wide.
We welcome all ages and take an informal view about what you wear - as long as you wear clothes - and look forward to more years of great live music.
