Some of our youth players visited The Royal Marsden’s Oak Centre for Children and Young People yesterday, to visit some of the child patients.

Jay Williams, Vinnie Tume, Junior Eccleston and Joden Trickett spent time with children in the ward, signing autographs, taking photos and chatting with patients. The visit was a part of the club’s community outreach program, aimed at uplifting the spirits of those facing health challenges and connecting with fans in a meaningful way. The players expressed how the experience was humbling and inspiring for them as well.

The U’s have previously established their relationship with the Royal Marsden, with former players Craig Eastmond, Louis John, Rob Milsom and Sam Hart all visiting the Oak Centre back in March. The club subsequently introduced a special Royal Aubergine kit, dedicated to supporting the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and all the vital work they do, with the strip since becoming the official third kit for the 2024/25 season, which you can buy here.
