With the Vanarama National League game against Forest Green not kicking off until 5.30pm, Sutton supporters have a chance to watch our Under 18s in action on Saturday morning in the first home EFL Youth Alliance South Division game of the season against Portsmouth. The game is at the David Weir Leisure Centre in Middleton Road, and kicks off at 11am. Admission is free.
Sutton will be looking to follow up the 1-0 win at Forest Green a fortnight ago, having had a blank week last week, although U’s did beat Metropolitan Police 2-1 in a friendly on Tuesday. Portsmouth come in to the game looking for their first points of the season having lost their opening two games away to Northampton and at home to Leyton Orient.
