Having enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season in the EFL Youth Alliance, our academy side’s attention will turn to the FA Youth Cup tonight when they visit Walton & Hersham in the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup. Saturday’s fine 4-1 win at Bristol Rovers gave U’s youngsters ten points out of a possible twelve in the league, with a League Cup win against Wimbledon also achieved, and visit a Walton side who put five past Tooting without reply in the previous round and currently have a 100% league record in the Isthmian Youth League.
With no midweek first team game this week it’s a great chance for supporters to see our talented youngsters, with the game kicking off at 7.45pm at the ElmbridgeXcel Sports Hub in Waterside Drive, Walton (KT12 2JP). Admission prices are £5 for adults and £2 for under 18s.
