Sutton’s Under 18 team, which this season will be run as an academy team, begins the 2018-19 Bostik Youth League campaign this Wednesday with a home game against Woking at the Knights Community Stadium, kicking off at 7.45pm. U’s are playing in the Central Division this season, a reasonably local division in which the longest away trips are to Woking and Chertsey. Next week U’s enter the League Cup, this year entitled the Save The Children Youth League Cup, travelling to Croydon in the first round next Wednesday, while as a National League club we don’t enter the FA Youth Cup until the second qualifying round stage in late September. A full fixture list for the season is here

Our two other academy teams are, as last year, playing in the National League Under 19 Alliance and the Suburban League, the latter in the Premier Division having won promotion last season. That campaign kicks off next Thursday, 30 August, coincidentally also against Woking but this time an away game which will be played at Knaphill FC, kick off 7.30pm. In the National League Under 19 Alliance, U’s have switched to Division B which comprises clubs from Surrey, Sussex and Kent. The season begins on Wednesday September 12th away at Hastings United. A full list of those fixtures is here, – Suburban League games are arranged on a shorter term basis and will be added to the list as they are known.
