Sutton made it three wins in a week thanks to two goals in the first six minutes to give Aldershot too much to do to avoid a ninth successive Vanarama National League game without a win. Harry Beautyman pounced on a poor header by Alex Finney to give U’s the lead, and two minutes later Brett Williams opened his Sutton account with a low volley after Jamie Collins headed down a free kick.
