We are very grateful to Brian Barwick, Chairman of the Vanarama National League, who attended the U’s terrific 3-1 win against Wrexham, for conducting the Amber500 “ Money can’t buy” non-cash prize draws in front of the main grandstand during the half time interval.
Brian pulled the following three balls from the Amber500 drum:
– Two people to travel with the team v Halifax on 15th February and enjoy pre match hospitality – ball 70 – owned by Tim Allison
– Two people to “spend a day with the team” at a future home match of their choice – ball 90 – owned by Gareth Miller
– Two people to see the band “Ash” at the Roundhouse in March plus commentating from the gantry with SUFCTV – ball 221 – owned by Ian Shearer
Congratulations to all three!
Don’t forget; the main cash prize draws take place at half time on New Year’s Day during our match v Woking. There’s still time to buy a ticket and give yourself a chance to win.
With 224 tickets currently sold and the total prize pot now approaching £4,500 and rising, it would be a really great way to start the New Year if the ball with your ticket number made an appearance out of the Amber500 drum!
Don’t forget, you can still buy your tickets for the great cash draw.
