Barnsley, who won the FA Cup in 1912 and beat Liverpool and Chelsea in a run to the semi finals in 2008, currently lie in sixth place in League One having been beaten play-off finalists last season, and on Saturday suffered their first away league defeat of the season at Derby County. They had one season as a Premier League club in 1997-98.

The game will be played at the VBS Community Stadium on Saturday 2 December, kick off 3pm.

Ticket prices are as follows: Adults £18, Concessions (age 60+/full time students with ID) £12; Juniors (age 12-18) £6. Tickets for under 12s are free if bought in conjunction with an adult or concession ticket. Seat prices are £4 more in all cases.

Tickets will go on sale to Season Ticket Holders and 1898 Club members at 9am today, Thursday 16 November. Season ticket holders will find their ticket in their reserved items space, and have until 5pm on Wednesday 29 November to claim that ticket before it is released on general sale.

As usual we will have pre-match hospitality in the MBA Lounge before the game, with a two course meal plus coffee and table service drinks from 12.30pm, with the bar opening at 12 noon.
