As part of eBay’s Small Businesses United campaign, they’re working with Sutton Uniited to offer fans the opportunity to attend a unique evening of entertainment, bringing together local communities, clubs and fans alike, to see who will be crowned Community Champion.
Prize winners will have the opportunity to meet a Sutton United player, have photographs with the Sky Bet League Two trophy, and receive two match tickets to a Sutton United home fixture of their choice.
The evening is on Tuesday 4 October at AFC Wimbledon’s training ground in New Malden, giving Sutton supporters unable to make the rearranged trip to Stevenage the chance to still have some involvement and connection with the club that day, and meet a player not involved in the game. It runs from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, meaning that the winners can still get home to watch the live stream of the game at Stevenage.
eBay champions local Clubs and local businesses and believes that the heart of football is community. That’s where it all started. From the tradesmen to the small business owners, these people came together to mould the community and thus the origins of our beloved clubs. Today and beyond, these same people continue to be the beating heart of the communities and power the beautiful game.
