We can now confirm the car-parking arrangements at the Knights Community Stadium for 2018-19.

2018-19 SUFC Parking Permits

  • £75 per permit
  • Permits can be switched between vehicles
  • Valid for first team home games
  • The club does not guarantee that a space will be available on occasions when matches are shown on television
  • If matches are televised, any permit holder who chooses to park in the Gibson Road municipal car-park shall be entitled to claim that parking fee back from the club (maximum £5)

We acknowledge the big issue around televised matches, where the tv outside broadcast vehicles and a few cars for the crew take up a lot of space and prevent us from being able to accommodate everyone who has a club permit.  One option was to sell fewer permits, but then have empty spaces at most games, or have some type of two-tier system, which we thought would be too complicated. So, we decided to make no changes.

Please ensure that you display the pass prominently in your vehicle. We are changing our stewarding arrangements this season and they will be under strict instructions to not let in any vehicle that fails to display a current pass. Please be polite to the stewards and park where instructed. Do not block in other vehicles or obstruct access routes (think fire engine !).  No vehicles will be permitted to leave the car-park at the end of a game from the final whistle until pedestrian spectators have left and the stewards consider it safe to allow vehicles to leave. To show respect to our neighbours (especially for evening games)  please do not:-  leave engines running; play music loudly; slam doors; shout.

If you want a permit for the new season, please let me know as soon as possible: davef@suttonunited.net
