Manager Matt Gray has appointed Andy Little to the coaching team as first team goalkeeping coach, replacing Seb Brown (above) who has stepped down from the position to take up a role with Chelsea Women’s FC . Andy was a regular keeper for many years with Crawley, AFC Wimbledon and Woking, but before that had a season with Sutton as back-up to Gareth Howells during the 1999-2000 season, playing one Nationwide Conference game away to Nuneaton. Matt said: ”Seb received an offer that was too good to turn down, so he leaves with our thanks for his tremendous help since joining the club in 2017, and with our best wishes for the future. I’m delighted to welcome Andy as his replacement – he’s got a wealth of experience and Jason knows him well from his AFC Wimbledon days.”

Matt, who will continue to be assisted by Jason Goodliffe and Micky Stephens as well as Director of Football Terry Bullivant, confirmed that this completes his coaching line-up for the season, along with the addition of Ben Ghinn to the sports therapy department. ”Ben had a year’s internship with us and we’re pleased that he’s now a permanent member of the staff to assist Bobby Childs, Cat Chambers and Steve Allen. Craig Dundas will remain as fitness coach, and will also register as a player, while we mustn’t forget the dancing kitman Clive Baxter.”
