We were pleased to hold our first “Climate Fresk” on Friday (www.climatefresk.org), with our own Dave Farebrother as the facilitator.

“The fresk is a novel way of raising awareness about the complex causes, impacts and consequences of increasing atmospheric CO2“, explained Dave. “The format was developed in France and is something I was introduced to at work last summer. The original goal was to reach one million people worldwide, a goal that was met last month, and the momentum is growing.”

Fridays fresk at the club was attended by CEO Adrian Barry and Head of Foundation Bobby Childs, alongside Graham Macauley from the Leo Academy. Dave said: “It was a good session, and I know Graham is interested in potentially introducing the concept into local schools. Hopefully, if we run another session we can attract delegates from some of our key stakeholders such as the EFL and the local authority.”

Adrian Barry said: ”Grateful thanks to Dave for running such an informative and thought-provoking session. It really got us thinking about all those “quick wins” which we can all put into action so easily around the club and in our daily lives”.
