Sutton United Football Club is proud to honour the incredible career of club legend Craig Dundas with a special testimonial match that promises to be a thrilling celebration of his contributions to the U’s.
A hugely popular clubman, Dundas is one of only five players in the club’s history to have completed the double of 500 appearances and 100 goals, reaching his centenary of goals in September 2017 and making his 550th appearance on the first day of the 2023/24 season. He is now fifth in the club’s all time appearance records.
He has won the Club Player of the Year on two further occasions as well as the Players’ Player of the Year three times and the supporters’ award once, and was also named in the National League South team of the season six seasons ago.
Craig featured in two title-winning teams and has achieved cult-hero status with the supporters for his versatility and tenacity, and returned for a fourth spell in 2019 where he eventually became the oldest player to make their EFL debut since the Second World War, when he came off the bench in a League Two match against Stevenage.
The club will now pay tribute to one of the greatest players to grace the Gander Green Lane pitch with a testimonial match that will take place on Sunday, 25th May at the VBS Community Stadium, kicking off at 3pm. Click here to purchase your ticket.
