In the light of the ongoing measures in place to combat the Coronavirus and the lack of certainty around a start date for the new season, we are pleased to confirm that the deadline for the Early Bird period for the sale of 2002/21 season tickets has been extended until 30th June.
Vice-Chairman Adrian Barry commented “ Thank you to all our supporters who have bought season tickets for the 2020/21 campaign without knowing at this stage how and when the new season will actually commence. As has been well documented, income streams for all Football Clubs have been virtually eliminated in the midst of the current pandemic; so the revenue emanating from season ticket sales has been never more crucial for the club’s finances. Right now, buying a season ticket is the best way our superb fan base can help the club. So, as a thank you to our supporters, and by way of encouraging more people to purchase a season ticket for the new campaign, the club has decided to extend the Early Bird deal, thereby continuing to offer the price structure which we hope everyone will find irresistible whenever we all get back to action!
Whilst chatting to the Manager, Matt Gray, just last week he asked me how Season Ticket sales were going and was delighted to hear that nearly 300 of our supporters had already signed up for next season. He, Jason and the rest of the management team, and, of course, all the players, are chomping at the bit to carry on where we left off in March whenever the new season starts and he too urges all our fans to really come back together strongly “as one “ when that time comes.”
