A Carshalton primary school is set to represent Sutton United on Wembley Stadium’s hallowed turf after reaching a cup final.

Barrow Hedges Primary School, in Harbury Road, defeated Dartford 1-0 at Eastleigh Football Club in the southern final of this season’s National League Trust under-11s cup.

Representing the U’s, their girls team have now qualified to face the winner of the northern final at Wembley in May – where this year’s FA Cup finals will be staged.
