” The Best 60’s Tribute band in the world” TIME OUT

The Mods came about just over 10 years ago as a spin off from 4 Bills and a Ben, a group for pros to ‘keep their hand in’ whilst not committed to major tours. The level of musicianship and spirit of fun and entertainment has never been compromised.

An amazing band made up of amazing musicians:

• Tim Huggins – Vox
• Mickey Simmonds – Keyboards
• Johnny Marter – Drums.
• John Kennard – Guitar.
• Steve Barnacle – Bass

Over the last 10 years The Mods have toured all over the UK and Europe playing to packed crowds and ecstatic audiences at Theatres, Clubs and Festivals. They have been flown out the Mediterranean to perform on Millionaires’ yachts, and commissioned by celebrities alike for exclusive private parties, The Mods were booked 2 years running for five night residencies at the exclusive ‘Le Moods Club’ in Monaco. They have headlined The Harley Davidson Euro Festival in Austria in 2011 as well as played several times at previous Harley events in Austria, St Tropez and Silverstone.

Members of The Mods have performed with, appeared on Albums with and as well as shared the billing with many world leading artists over the years, to name a few: Queen, Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey, Mike Oldfield, Joan Armatrading, Amy Winehouse, Rick Wakeman, Tina Turner, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Fish, Art Garfunkel, Paul Young, Judie Tzuke, Camel, Spear Of Destiny, Steve Strange, Samantha Fox, Ian Dury, Bill Wyman, Bob Geldof, Visage, Iron Maiden, Dave Gilmour, The Foo Fighters, Elton John, Rod Stewart – the list is endless…

The Mods have an excellent hard-earned reputation for delivering powerful, exciting shows and entertainment, dashed with a sprinkling of humour and full of outstanding musicianship.
