Sutton’s academy side will be at the VBS for the first time this season tonight as AFC Wimbledon visit in the first round of the FA Youth Cup (7.45pm).
As well as being a local derby, the game matches the sides currently first and third in the South Division of the EFL Youth Alliance, with both teams unbeaten in the league until U’s defeat against Leyton Orient last Friday. However while Wimbledon may have the advantage in the league, when the teams met earlier in the season in the League Cup it was U’s who ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Bobby Sheargold and Joden Trickett.
Admission is all pay on the night, £5 for adults and £1 for children. Members of both the Sutton and Wimbledon academy teams have free admission along with one parent.
Prior to kick off tickets will be on sale from the ticket office for Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Birmingham City for any supporters who haven’t yet purchased theirs.
