The pre-season campaign will begin on Tuesday 11 July, kick off 7.45pm, with a game against Havant & Waterlooville, under the management of former Sutton player and coach Jamie Collins. Havant finished 10th in National League South in the season just finished and the clubs met at Westleigh Park as part of last season’s pre-season programme, Kwame Thomas and a Harry Beautyman penalty giving U’s a 2-1 win.

On Saturday 22 July we will be away to Farnborough, who finished 12th in National League South, three points behind Havant, and won in the FA Cup at the VBS in November. The game, which kicks off at 3pm, has been arranged as part of the deal that brought striker Hisham Kasimu to Sutton in January. Tickets for the game are on sale on line here as well as being available on the day. On the same day our academy side have a game arranged away to Fleet Town.

Three days later, on Tuesday 25 July, we make the trip to Kingfield to face Woking, who reached the play-offs in the National League before losing to Bromley in the elimination round. Kick off is 7.45pm and as with Havant it will be the second pre-season in a row that the teams have played a friendly, with Woking visiting the VBS Community Stadium last July and winning 1-0 thanks to Padraig Amond’s goal, our only defeat in last summer’s pre-season schedule.

We will be releasing our schedule of home pre-season friendlies once announcements have been agreed with the opposing clubs.
