Manager Matt Gray has re-signed striker Isaac Olaofe on a three month loan from Millwall. Isaac, also known as Tanto, originally joined us on loan in February and played five games, scoring one goal, impressing with his pace before his loan came to a premature end along with the season in March. He returned to Millwall, and then began this season on loan at St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership before being recalled to the New Den last week. He will take the same squad number, 25, as he had in his first spell and with international clearance confirmed can go straight in to the squad for tomorrow’s visit to Weymouth.
Sutton look to make it three wins out of three this season tomorrow , and having beaten Maidenhead for the first time in eleven games, and recorded a first win at Aldershot for over twenty years, will hope to end a third barren sequence, never having won at the Bob Lucas Stadium in six league and cup visits since Weymouth moved to the ground in 1987. Matt is hopeful that the couple of knocks picked up at Aldershot on Tuesday will not have been serious and only Louis John and Ben Goodliffe will remain absentees from the squad. One player who won’t feature for the next month is left back Jude Mason, who has been loaned to Merstham.
Promoted through the National League South play-offs last season, and then lost manager Mark Molesley to Southend, Weymouth are still looking for their first goal of the season under former player Brian Stock, having played out a goalless draw at Altrincham last Saturday and then lost by the only goal at home to Woking on Tuesday.
The game will be streamed live by Weymouth, with a pass available here, while we will also be covering the game live from the ground on our Mixlr channel.
