A week after signing defender Terell Thomas on loan, manager Paul Doswell has returned to Wigan to agree the loan of 21 year old goalkeeper Owen Evans following Jamie Butler’s injury against Boreham Wood on Monday. Paul said: ”Jamie’s on crutches at the moment and will go for a scan this week, when we will find out more, but we expect him to be out for the next couple of weeks, so we’re grateful to Paul Cook at Wigan for helping us again.”
Originally an academy player at Hereford, the Wales Under 19 international then joined the Wigan academy and was offered professional terms this season. He has had loan spells at Witton Albion, Rhyl and North Ferriby. We welcome Owen to the club.
Paul is hopeful of announcing further player movement this week, so keep watching the website for further news.
