Sutton United will transition to a cashless stadium starting January 1, 2025, in line with industry trends. This change aims to improve transaction speed, financial security, and the overall customer experience.

Initially, the cashless policy will apply differently depending on the event, with a focus on reducing queues, especially during peak periods before kick-off, half-time, and after the final whistle. From January 1, cash will no longer be accepted at the ticket office for matchday tickets, and food/drink purchases will also be cashless. The Club shop will adopt the same policy to improve efficiency and reduce queuing.

For bars inside the stadium and in the fanzone, non-cash payments are strongly encouraged, and staff will request card payments when possible. Cash will only be accepted in cases where non-cash payments are not feasible. By the end of the season, the club will assess the situation and may fully phase out cash on matchdays.

Some transactions, like those handled by the Supporters Club or for matchday programmes and small raffles, will continue to accept cash for now.
