Sutton United Football Club are delighted to confirm that Besart Topallaj’s loan has been extended until the end of the season.
Topallaj arrived at the VBS Community Stadium back in November having featured three times for Bromley in League Two, and has gone on to appear 11 time in all competitions for the U’s. The Kosovan has impressed in his limited time in South London so far, with his energy and tenacity at wing-back adding a different dynamic on the left flank since his arrival.
He topped off his positive run of form with his first goal on Boxing Day, capitalising on an error at the back to put Sutton in front against Barnet with 20 minutes to go, having ran the length of the pitch in order to get in the position to score.
