Sutton United Football Club is delighted to confirm that club captain Tyler French has signed a new deal with the U’s, triggering an extension clause that will keep at the club for an additional year.
The 25-year old has been in fine form throughout the 2024/25 campaign with a number of commanding displays at both centre back and right back, and now looks forward to continuing that into the rest of the season and beyond.
He has missed just one game all season due to suspension, but has otherwise started all but one of his 33 appearances this season and has become a crucial member of the squad.
The former Bradford City and Wrexham AFC defender joined from Scottish side Dundee in the summer, and quickly became one of the senior figures within the dressing room, being named as Craig Eastmond’s successor as club captain.
French also joins Eduino Vaz in signing a new contract, who has extended his own deal until 2026.
Congratulations, Tyler!
