Following Ross Worner’s injury at Torquay on Saturday, manager Paul Doswell has signed Will Puddy on a month’s loan from Bristol Rovers. The 29-year-old joined Rovers at the start of the 2014-15 season after featuring in Sutton’s pre-season programme, and played against Grimsby at Wembley in the play-off final that saw Rovers promoted back to the Football League at the first attempt. He was previously a regular at this level for Salisbury, having helped them to promotion in 2013, and has had a spell on loan at Braintree earlier this season.

Paul has also secured the services of winger Kieron Cadogan, who has recently been playing in Sweden. Aged 26, Kieron previously made 21 appearances for Crystal Palace, and played for Aldershot and Barnet before joining Gothenburg based GAIS. He will go in to the squad once international clearance is received.

Paul said ‘I initially tried to sign Kieron two years ago and when Jamie Lawrence told me he was returning to England I was delighted to have the chance again. With pace and good technical ability he’s a wide player who will create opportunities, and is also a goal threat himself.”
