Manager Paul Doswell has added to his squad for the second half of the season by re-signing attacking midfielder Harry Beautyman from Stevenage for an undisclosed fee. 25-year-old Harry originally joined U’s in summer 2011 after being released by Leyton Orient, where he had been reserve team captain, and went on to score 24 goals (above celebrating a goal at Truro) in 105 games over the next two seasons, winning the Supporters’ Club Player of the Year award in his first season and earning recognition at England C level. He  joined Welling, then in the Conference, in 2013 and subsequently earned a move in to the Football League with Peterborough the following year. He spent last season with Northampton before joining Stevenage in the summer. Paul said: ”I’ve been tracking Harry’s progress and knew he was available. What was important was that we were the club he wanted to join, and we’re grateful to Stevenage for their co-operation with the move. He’s signed a two and a half year deal, and the thought of seeing him line up alongside our present midfield is an exciting one.”Harry will take the squad number 31.Meanwhile Paul has also agreed to allow Ross Stearn, who rejoined the club in November, to move to Vanarama National League South club Bath City on a month’s loan. Paul explained: ‘Ross had been out for a while with an ankle injury and needs to play matches to get his fitness back. Going to Bath will help him achieve that, and we look forward to welcoming him back at the end of his month there.”
