Alex Woodyard
Midfielder signed at the beginning of January after being released by Colchester United, who he had joined at the start of the season. After beginning his career as a youth player with Charlton, he joined Southend, making his EFL debut as a 17-year-old, and subsequently played for Dartford, Concord Rangers and Braintree before joining Lincoln City, where he was Player of the Season in their 2016-17 National League championship season, when they also reached the FA Cup quarter finals. He left Lincoln in 2018 to join Peterborough, then made over 100 appearances for Wimbledon and had a spell at York City before joining Colchester in the summer. He has 5 England C caps.
