George Vorster scored for Sutton in the first half with a low shot from a tight angle on the left, and after half time defender Jack Taylor extended the lead with a looping header from a corner (above). Orient pulled one back from the penalty spot soon afterwards, but Taylor, fresh from his involvement with the first team squad against Cambridge on Tuesday, headed in another corner to restore the two goal advantage, and Camron Grant added a fourth, collecting a right wing cross at the far post and making space before shooting low on the turn in to the bottom corner of the net.

There is no competitive game for the academy team next weekend as we have a bye in the first round of the League Cup, but there is a friendly against Southend at Aberdour School on Friday, kick off 11am, and spectators are welcome.
