Sutton slumped to a disappointing defeat this afternoon as Solihull completed the double over U’s. Regan Charles-Cook, making his debut for Solihull after signing on loan from Charlton, took just 90 seconds to score, but U’s missed a golden chance to equalise when Jamie Collins’ penalty was saved after Louis John had been fouled five minutes before half time.

Instead of going in level U’s were 2-0 down at half time as Charles-Cook scored again, and he created the third for fellow debutant Oledapo Afolayan with twenty minutes left. U’s also lost Kevin Amankwaah and Dan Spence to injury, with Jack Jebb making his debut as a second half substitute.
