Steve oversaw a run of three consecutive victories at the end of the month to maintain U’s hopes of climbing away from the relegation zone, and is nominated alongside Dave Challinor (Stockport County), Grant McCann (Doncaster Rovers) and Pete Wild (Barrow).

The winner will be chosen by a judging panel of former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL Trader Ivor Davies, and will be announced on Friday 12 April.
