The Sussex side scored direct from a corner just before the half hour mark, and doubled the lead when a long throw was turned in to the net twelve minutes in to the second half. U’s were unable to recover the deficit as Worthing earned a victory which kept them three points behind league leaders Ebbsfleet, who won at Dulwich in the afternoon’s only other game.

Next Sunday we are away to Enfield Town at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Donkey Lane, kick off 2pm. There were no games for the reserves or development side today – the reseerves are also free next week but the development side are away to Cranleigh, kick off 2pm.
