After a goalless first half Darcy Wells put Sutton in front from the penalty spot just before the hour mark, and Olivia Watson doubled the lead soon afterwards. At that point U’s seemed set to move in to the division’s top six, but Aylesford quickly pulled one goal back from a free kick, and in the 90th minute completed the comeback to leave Sutton in seventh, a point behind Saltdean. U’s now finish with three away games against Fulham, Worthing, who earlier lifted the League Cup at Sutton with a 3-1 win over Dartford,  and Aylesford, the first being next Sunday against Fulham at Motspur Park, kick off 2.30pm.

The reserves lost 2-1 at home to runaway South East Counties League Surrey Premier Division leaders Ashmount Leigh, but will have a chance of revenge on Sunday 21 May in the Surrey Divisional Cup final at Dorking, for which tickets can be bought here.
