The Dons had won the reverse fixture at the end of August and have been around the top of the EFL Youth Alliance South East Division table all season, but U’s were out of the blocks quickly and two up inside fifteen minutes as Wimbledon were twice penalised for fouls in the penalty area. The first of the spot kicks was converted by Vinnie Tume, and Joden Trickett netted the second penalty to put Sutton in charge. Although Wimbledon did pull a goal back midway through the second half, Sutton made certain of the points with about a quarter of an hour to go with a goal from Khyan Edwards.

The next game is an away game against Brentford next Saturday, with venue and kick off time to be confirmed this week.
