BPH is the enlargement of the prostate which can cause symptoms which are embarrassing and frustrating for those with the condition, including the urgent need or the inability to urinate due to the pressure of the prostate on the urethra. The Echo-Laser offers a non-surgical, micro-invasive treatment that utilises laser energy to reduce the size of the prostate, gradually providing a resolution of BPH-associated urinary symptoms, within a day case procedure.

“I am very excited about the about the partnership with Sutton and proud to be given the opportunity to showcase the unique capabilities of the Echo-Laser, whilst raising awareness of BPH and available treatments within our local community’, said Andrew Wakeling, the CEO of Ideal Medical Solutions Ltd.

As well as having the logo on the front of the shirts, there will also be a visual presence at the VBS Community Stadium, where Ideal Medical Solutions are already sponsors of the away Collingwood Road stands.

Adrian Barry, the CEO of Sutton United, pictured with Andrew Wakeling above when the deal for the stans sponsorship was announced, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Ideal Medical Solutions on board as our new front of shirt sponsor for the first team from the start of the 2023/24 season; in so doing helping to raise awareness of their excellent and unique Echo-Laser treatment. Of course the new Collingwood Terrace is already sponsored by Ideal Medical Solutions standing proudly as the “Echo-Laser Stand” and now our partnership with Andrew and his great team of people has developed further through this shirt sponsorship Agreement. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Andrew and his colleagues at several business workshops and presentations and we thank them for their wonderful support of the club; indeed they can be found standing on the terraces at every home match proudly wearing the amber and chocolate colours in support of the U’s. We look forward to advancing this very special relationship and to sharing some great times on and off the pitch together next season and beyond.”

There are a number of Hospitals across the UK offering the Echo-Laser treatment, with the service expected to grow over the coming months due to the procedure being significantly less invasive than current interventions offered for the condition, meaning that most patients can receive the treatment and return home the same day.
