If tickets are still available on Saturday, they will again be on sale on line and from the club office between 12 noon and 1 pm. If any are left thereafter, they can be bought from the ticket booth next to the club shop. Ticket prices are £21 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for ages 12-18. Tickets for under 12s are free if bought in conjunction with an adult or concession ticket. Seats cost £4 more in all cases. Please note that any tickets bought in person at the club on Saturday will carry an extra £2 charge, an increase which does not apply to tickets bought on line at any time, but we would urge you to purchase NOW to avoid disappointment as we cannot guarantee tickets will be available to buy on matchday and will update on the availability status as appropriate through our social media channels.
 
On the pitch Wimbledon will be looking to extend their unbeaten league record which has so far seen them draw away to Grimsby and at home to Wrexham, then win at Colchester on Tuesday. After a disappointing season last season which saw Wimbledon finish just five points above the relegation zone they made a number of signings in the summer including two players familiar to Sutton supporters in Omar Bugiel and Josh Neufville. Jake Reeves has taken over the captaincy after signing from Stevenage for a second spell with the Dons, while James Tilley, signed from Crawley, has scored all three of Wimbledon’s league goals so far. Paul Kalambayi, Huseyin Biler and Jack Currie are all likely to remain on the sidelines with injury.
 
Like Sutton, Wimbledon also progressed in the Carabao Cup with a dramatic win over Coventry, Ryan McLean, another summer signing from Hereford, scoring the winner and they look forward to a trip to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday week in the second round.
 
After crushing Notts County on the first day of the season and a penalty shootout win over Cambridge, Sutton have lost the last two league games but will hope to bounce back against a side who U’s beat home and away last season. Craig Eastmond scored the only goal at Plough Lane, while Will Randall and Bugiel were on target in the return over the Christmas/New Year period. Harry Smith serves the second game of his three match ban following his red card at Barrow, but Ryan Jackson, who has missed out through injury so far, may be fit to return to the squad.
 
Saturday’s referee is David Rock, a regular visitor to the VBS over the years who was at the ground most recently in July for the friendly against Reading. His last EFL game at Sutton was against Northampton in April.
 
The home fanzone will be open from 12 noon on Saturday, with our friends at Signal Brewery offering a happy hour between 12 and 1 when all beers will be £3.50 a pint. In addition, local band Lucky Hit will be providing live music from 1.45pm, so why not come along early and soak up the summer sun that is forecast while enjoying a pint and live music.
