As Matt said in his post match interview on Saturday, it was originally the intention to have the academy side fulfil the fixture, but with no game now until next Wednesday it is likely that a number of first team squad members who have not had a lot of action recently are likely to be included, along with several of the youth side that took Championship outfit Preston North End to penalties in the third round of the FA Youth Cup recently.

It will be a first meeting between U’s and Sheerwater, who are currently in mid table in the South Division of the Combined Counties League, twelve points behind leaders Walton & Hersham although they have played more games than any side except bottom of the table Molesey. On Saturday they were beaten 3-2 at home by Camberley and, like Sutton, they had a bye through the preliminary round of the Surrey Senior Cup.

Should the scores be level after ninety minutes, the game will be decided on penalties and the winners will be away to Isthmian League Premier Division Kingstonian in the second round.

There are no advance ticket sales for the game, which kicks off at 7.45pm, and admission will be pay on the night by card or cash. Prices are £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and £2 for juniors. Season tickets are not valid.
