Sutton suffered their first league defeat for over two months tonight against a Torquay side who deserved the victory that lifted them off the foot of the Vanarama National League table. Ruairi Keating’s 10th minute header decided the game, with Sutton, without the ill Dean Beckwith and the injured Tommy Wright, never able to hit their best form and thankful to Jamie Butler for keeping them in the game with two superb second half saves.
