A late call will be made on Alex Woodyard regarding his availability for tonight’s match at AFC Fylde, having slowly recovered from illness.

The former Colchester United midfielder has missed out on the last three games with illness, and despite taking antibiotics and training in the lead up to Saturday’s defeat to FC Halifax Town, was unable to recover in time for the weekend.

“He’s had a chest infection” said Steve Morison. “His first training session was on Friday, did a little bit more Saturday and trained again Monday so hopefully he’ll be to come tonight and he’ll give us that much-needed experience in midfield”

Woodyard is the only late call to be made, however, with Dillon De Silva, Alex Kirk and Jayden Harris the only remaining absentees in the squad.

“Everyone’s fine” added the Head Coach, “only Dillon, Kirky and Jayden are missing so everyone’s alright and we’ve got a good opportunity to pick a team that can perform, and hopefully they’ll do that”
