Steve Morison has provided a squad update ahead of Saturday’s trip to Altrincham.
Josh Coley missed the trip to Halifax on Tuesday and is set to remain absent this weekend with an ankle knock sustained against Ebbsfleet United in the FA Trophy Third Round.
On a more positive note, Will Davies could make his return after missing out on Tuesday’s draw. The U’s number nine had to have stitches after a clash of heads saw him withdrawn early against Ebbsfleet, but has made the trip up to Greater Manchester.
Longer-term absences include Alex Kirk and Jayden Harris, who continue to step up their recoveries from respective LCL and Achilles injuries. It is hoped that the former will return in the new year.
