Steve Morison has offered a squad update ahead of this weekend’s match at Boston United (Saturday, 29th March).
As previously reported, Dillon De Silva and Josh Coley will both miss the next few weeks with respective hamstring problems, sustained against Maidenhead United and Dagenham & Redbridge respectively, joining long-term absentees Alex Kirk and Jayden Harris in the treatment room.
“Dillon had initially picked up a knock at Maidenhead United last month, but aggravated the problem at Forest Green Rovers and will miss four weeks” said Morison. “Coley meanwhile had a scan on his hamstring, but will miss the next four to six weeks”.
Henry Sandat will also miss the trip to Lincolnshire, and the Head Coach will be looking to rely on the bulk of his squad when they arrive at the Jakeman’s Community Stadium come Saturday.
“Some haven’t got through training so we’ll have a few more missing – Henry Sandat will be missing” added Morison. “We’ve got 19 players [available] including three goalkeepers. Every single one of them will be there and we’ve got to keep grinding out results, grinding out performances and we look forward to a tough game”
