Steve Morison has confirmed there are no fresh injury concerns to report ahead of tomorrow’s visit to Ebbsfleet United, and commented on the possibility of there being new faces in the squad.
“We’ve just got bodies that are tired” said the Head Coach, “we will use the squad accordingly, and yeah, understand that they’re human beings and if you push them too far they’ll break.”
“We’ll manage the squad as we can, there’s nothing new to worry about, and we’ll have to roll them out again. I might change a few things; you might see a few new faces as well if I have to – we’ve got a squad, we’re going to have to use it.”
This will come as a positive sign to the former striker, who has recently lost a handful of players to longer-term problems which have become season-ending due to the season coming to a close in less than a month.
Dillon De Silva and Josh Coley had joined Jayden Harris and Alex Kirk in the treatment room last month, and Morison more recently lost Jack Taylor and Henry Sandat to respective knocks as well, while Will Davies and Finley Barbrook have suffered with issues since the National League Cup Semi-Final at Braintree Town.
