Steve Morison has provided a squad update ahead of tomorrow night’s trip to Gateshead.
The U’s Head Coach confirmed that everyone got through Saturday’s match at Oldham Athletic injury-free, and now looks ahead to a quick turnaround with a second long trip up north in four days.
“Everyone is fit, everyone wants to be available and that’s really pleasing; everyone wants to play, everyone wants to travel. We have some massive games coming up and having a fully fit squad is great and we need to keep it that way”

Finley Barbrook will serve the second and final match of his suspension having picked up his tenth yellow card of the season against Hartlepool United, while Josh Coley took a step towards his recovery from his ankle injury, coming off the bench just ten minutes into the second half on Saturday.
Commenting on Coley’s return to action on the weekend, Morison said:
“It’s always pleasing to be able to call on Josh. He trained the last couple of days and looked okay, he wanted to come along and wanted to be on the bench so he was, and it was nice to be able to turn around and go ‘ I’m going to bring Josh on’. I thought he did well.”
