Junior Robinson is in contention to make his Sutton debut tomorrow, having signed on loan from West Ham United during the week.

The young wing-back has previously featured at the VBS Community Stadium after scoring in the National League Cup against the U’s back in December, and caught the eye of Head Coach Steve Morison as a result. The 20-year old is now available for selection and could appear for a second time in South London, but swapping claret and blue for amber. Commenting on the impact Robinson could have, Morison said pre-match:

“He comes in fit and ready to go and is available for selection. It’s just another decision we’ve got to make. He’s come in to add competition and had some much needed athleticism and pace to get down that right flank, so we’ll see what he can do”

Morison also provided an update on Josh Coley, who missed Tuesday’s National League Cup match against Nottingham Forest with an ankle injury sustained against Kidderminster Harriers in the Isuzu FA Trophy Fifth Round, and confirmed that the U’s number seven will remain absent.

Jayden Harris and Steve Arnold remain as longer-term absentees, while Alex Kirk and Siju Odelusi are approaching full match fitness with another 45 and 61 minutes in their legs respectively on Tuesday night.
