Tyler French is set to return to contention after serving his one-match ban on the weekend.
The Sutton skipper was forced to watch from the sidelines as the U’s won at Yeovil Town due to a 50/50 offence against Barnet that resulted in French seeing red on Easter Monday, with the referee deeming the incident to be a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity.
Due to the nature of the offence, French had to miss just one match as part of his suspension, making him available for selection ahead of tomorrow’s National League Cup Final.
Henry Sandat and Kain Adom are both cup-tied having featured in the National League Cup for Wealdstone and Gateshead respectively, earlier on in the season, but Steve Morison will be boosted by the rest of his squad being fully fit and ready to be called upon, claiming “everyone has come through [the Yeovil match] okay”.
“Obviously it helps [French being back] because obviously we’ll lose Kain [Adom] and Henry [Sandat] from the squad” said Morison. “It gives me a selection headache which is a good thing to have”
This also includes Josh Coley and Dillon De Silva, who both returned to action against Barnet and Yeovil Town respectively.
