Steve Morison has provided a squad update ahead of the midweek visit of Wealdstone.

Due to Saturday’s match at AFC Fylde getting called off, Henry Sandat could make his Sutton debut against the team he has just departed having spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Grosvenor Vale, while fellow recruit Alex Woodyard continues to regain his fitness after arriving from Colchester United.

Furthermore, Josh Coley and Ryan Jackson took a step towards their recoveries from their respective injuries, with the former playing 45 minutes last time out against Tamworth in the FA Trophy Fourth Round while the latter was an unused substitute.

As for the longer-term absentees, Alex Kirk and Siju Odelusi have all returned to training and are making good progress. The former could return to action as early as the National League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday, 21st January, while the latter is on track to return a week later.

Jack Sims is another who has returned to training after going off against Aldershot Town on New Year’s Day, although tomorrow’s match will come too soon for a return to the matchday squad.
