A renowned striker in his playing days, notably for Millwall, Morison racked up almost 600 appearances and played as high as the Premier League with Norwich City, before transitioning into coaching with a stint in charge of the Cardiff City Under-23’s. The former Wales international later took on the role of Caretaker Manager of the First Team and later became the permanent boss, before joining Hornchurch in 2023. Six months in Upminster saw him guide the club to the top of the Isthmian League Premier Division, before moving to South London in January 2024.
With more than two decades worth of experience, Morison has a whole host of insight to offer alongside First Team Coach, Jon Meeney.
A former player who spent seven years as a youngster in the Brighton & Hove Albion academy, Meeney has notably taken on roles as part of the backroom staff at Eastbourne Borough, Crawley Town and Worthing, also briefly overseeing a joint-manager role at the latter. Five months at Horsham then preceded a move to the U’s last summer, where he has had a keen impact with his energy and footballing knowledge.
