Tope, who has been loaned to National League Torquay initially until the end of February, scored three times earlier in the season, including in his first start against Chelsea in the Papa Johns Trophy but has been used mainly as a substitute this season, and manager Matt Gray said: ”Tope’s got terrific potential for us but at the moment he’s only getting time off the bench, so hopefully he can get a number of full games under his belt at Torquay which will be great for his development and we’ll get the benefit of it as he comes back a stronger player.”
Kwame, who like Tope joined us in the summer, has joined Scottish Championship promotion chasers Dundee until the end of the season. Matt said: ”Kwame was keen to get more regular football which we haven’t been able to give him recently, and this is a great opportunity for him to play at a good level and hopefully he will be able to help Dundee’s promotion challenge.”
