Sutton United Community team played in their first ever mental health tournament run by Surrey FA, with the usual Sutton United Community Teams being at the pan disability level team this was always going to be a massive challenge for the team.

The U’s first ever outing in mental health football saw them play some promising football and they won two of their five group games. Despite not winning through the group stages, the U’s beat the eventual winners Millwall A 2-0, so it proved a very enjoyable day.

Manager Steve King reflected, "it was a great experience for the team and a very different challenge for them being involved in mental heath football for the first time and we would like to thank the Surrey for organising a very enjoyable day."
