Steve King, Head of Disability Football, was understandably delighted afterwards. "I’m so pleased for the players and coaches. We have come so close in the last two years so to finally return home with the cup is a magnificent achievement for all involved. This year we selected players from all three of our teams, to give more players a chance of having this experience. This is a great tournament and we have made so many friends here and it is great for the players to meet so many other players from all over the UK and Ireland, they even got to meet Dame Mary Peters. Everyone here is bubbling. I’d like to thank the club and all of our fantastic sponsors for making this possible and, of course, the Irish FA for the invitation."
