Born in Croydon, the 24-year-old is a former Carshalton Athletic youth player who played at first team level for Peterborough United at the age of 17 and also appeared for Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy. At non-league level he has played for Merstham, Bath and Hemel Hempstead before joining Lewes at the beginning of last season, scoring thirteen goals in 67 appearances for the Sussex club. He made his debut for Guyana in the summer and scored his first international goal in October.

We welcome Deon to the club – despite appearances to the contrary in the above photo he will have the squad number 27.
